Dump Truck Driver

Role

Summit Earthworks Inc. is looking to expand our trucking fleet for both facility and project specific needs.

Responsibilities

• • Pick up and deliver materials in a safe and timely manner
  • Would be operating Truck and Pony, End Dumps, Tri-Tri, Truck and Transfer
  • Oversee all aspects of pickups and deliveries, including loading and unloading, proper securement, equipment inspection, and safe delivery
  • Oversee all aspects of delivery vehicles, including inspection, maintenance, and cleanliness
  • Ensure paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and within Summit’s standards
  • Record deliveries information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
  • Report all issues and concerns related to equipment and vehicle maintenance in a timely manner
  • Adhere and meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies
  • Perform all work in accordance with current Summit’s policies and procedures
  • Complete other tasks as needed or required

 

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Clean Driver’s Abstract
• Load securement training (preferred)
• Hours of service training (an asset)

Compensation

$28-$32 per hour – based on experience
