Outside Sales Representative
Job Description: Summit Earthworks Inc. is looking for an experienced and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Business Development & Marketing your job would help Summit promote our facilities and services to potential clients. You will seek out sales leads through identifying opportunities from various customer streams, including developers, general contractors, engineering consultants and industry-specific contacts. You will be expected to meet directly with potential clients, make phone calls, conduct virtual meetings to follow up on inquiries, pursue leads, make a sales pitch, and/or give your reporting manager feedback regarding the success rate of sales targets.
About Us: Summit Earthworks provides full-service environmental solutions specializing in soils management – contaminated site remediation, soil treatment and disposal to habitat restoration and mine reclamation. We serve a wide range of government, industrial, commercial and residential clients, working collaboratively with developers, environmental, geotechnical and civil engineering consultants on their projects. Summit is experienced and committed to developing long-term, mutually beneficial relationships, especially among Indigenous communities. All Summit Earthworks divisions utilize industry Best Management Practices (BMP’s), adhere to current WorkSafe H&S standards and implement proven construction techniques to safely execute diverse, complex environmental reclamation, remediation and earthworks projects.
What you bring to the table: – Comfortability in a fast-paced role that consists primarily of outside sales – Confidence in your ability to increase revenues – A natural ability to create lasting relationships with potential clients – A passion for creating and pursuing new opportunities – Willingness to travel.
Requirements: – 5+ years experience in Sales, Business Development, or related experience – specific knowledge of engineering or construction industry is an asset – Strong interpersonal skills – Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
