Ed Leon Slough Project
Habitat Restoration

Ed Leon Slough

The riparian habitat of this slough was infested with invasive species and non-coniferous land cover, which was damaging salmon habitat. Summit Earthworks restored the plant life and geography of the slough by constructing three side channels with erosion control measures adjacent to the slough, excavating two ponds and planting over 13,000 native plants along the banks.
