Soil Management Centres

Our capabilities include transfer and treatment centres and landfills designed for the safe handling and management of contaminated soils and wood waste to meet strict remediation standards for the protection of the environment.

Core to our full-service offerings is Summit’s owned and operated Soil Management Centres. Our capabilities include transfer and treatment facilities and landfills designed for the safe handling and management of contaminated soils and wood waste to meet strict remediation standards in the communities where we operate. Currently, we operate two Ministry of Environment permitted Soil Management Centres, one located in Mission and our newest facility in Quesnel, a wood waste landfill and contaminated soil bioremediation treatment cell, now open to accept and process materials.

Summit Earthworks has barge access at our Duncan Ave, Mission BC facility and upcoming at our new transfer facility in New Westminster. This engineer-designed transfer facility will allow for increased accessibility from the surrounding Metro Vancouver communities and can accommodate barge, rail and truck access.

We are committed to promoting a sustainable circular economy. Soil brought to our facilities is re-used for grading and structural material for new community developments. Our mission is to continue to innovate and look for new sustainable solutions to cut down more landfill waste in the communities where we work and live.

The list below consists of Summit Earthworks’ Ministry of Environment approved Soil Management & Transfer Centres.
