Summit Earthworks’ Newest Soil Management Centre

Summit Earthworks is excited to announce that the construction of its newest Ministry of Environment approved Soil Management Centre has commenced at Derwent Way in New Westminster, after multiple years of planning, permitting and consultations. Summit takes pride in being a full-service environmental contractor specializing in providing numerous soil management solutions for our municipal, provincial, federal and private business partners across the province. This facility will be a cost-effective option for our clients in the management of contaminated materials.

Key facility details include:

  • Accepted material will include waste soil primarily from development sites and remediation sites in Metro Vancouver meeting Residential, Commercial and Industrial standards.
  • Offload options will include trucking, rail and barge.
  • For remediation, the soils will be transloaded to our permanent treatment/disposal facility in Mission, BC.
  • No hazardous waste (HW) is accepted at the facility.
